I looked on the Disney website but don’t see the answer to this probably newbie question, so excuse me in advance if this is a dumb/obvious ask. 😁

is early entry provided on the day of checkin and also the morning of checkout?
If checkin—do you have to do like Universal where you go to the lobby at the crack of dawn to get keycards? Or is it all in your Disney app that you’re going to be checking in later that day so you just show your phone that morning at the park?

Anything different/similar about checkout day?

thanks!

(Also hotels in question would be Doubletree Suites first 3 nights and Swan or Dolphin final night)

Disney considers you a guest on both check-in and check-out days -- from arrival on check-in day until 11:59pm of check-out day. For WDW resorts, you can just do online check-in with plan to arrive early, then scan your MB or phone. I'm not sure how it works with the partner hotels, but presumably the same if you have those resorts linked to MDE.

Thank you so much!
