Early entry hours

Someone on here mentioned that their parents went and stayed at POP and were told that they could not use Early entry because they were at a value resort. I think that the change
"may be true". The brochure I received stated that "select" disney resorts offer early entry. Now, however, when I used early entry to AK they just glanced at the room key never actually looked at it or anything.

My friends are at the POP now and have use EE every morning of thier trip so far, so it must just be misinformation.

Total mis-information. Early Entry is open to ALL guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort as well as the Swan and Dolphin, Shades of Green and the Hilton at LBV.

Exactly. What is not included for EMH is the other DTD resorts other than the Hilton.

I sure hope so, but all I know is what the pamplet stated at the CR that guests of "select" disney resorts are able to use it.

Yes, all Disney-owned resorts, the Swan/Dolphin, SOG, and the Hilton are the "select" resorts.

Can you imagine trying to keep out JUST the Value resort guests from Extra Magic Hour? There are currently over 8000 Value guest rooms....(1920 at each All-Star, 2880 at Pop Century)

We were just there 2 weeks ago for a 12 night visit and stayed at Pop. We never had any problems getting into any park for EE.

Does anyone happen to know if Shades of Green is now included in the extra magic hours at night? I know they are part of the morning program, but when I went last and stayed at SOG, we weren't allowed to participate in the night program

They don't have the night hours. That was a test this spring (May I think) and nothing has been indicated about doing it again.

UPDATE to Tigger&Belle. I read today on Mouseplanet that the Extra Magic Hours in the evening are tentatively scheduled to be permanent on Jan 9th. Just thought I would update everyone on this. It must have tested great. I personally can't wait to enjoy this amenity!!!

Disneyfan79, I hope you're right. We plan to be there Jan. 15-22, but do have to say that I visited the employee website and there is no mention of this anywhere on the board and I even checked the january hours section. So the information didn't come from the Disney CM site, or I couldn't find it anywhere and looked in every section.

I found the info on mouseplanet.com under the WDW update that they do every week. They didn't mention too much about it, and said they would have more updates on it later. One thing they said, was that MGM was gonna be on Sunday instead of Tuesday for it's EVENING magic hours and they would be open 3 hours AFTER the park closed. I hope this happens too!! I was kicking myself in the tail for not going this past May and experiencing this b/c I usually go every May. I will cross my fingers!!

This sounds great.

Our next trip is the last week of April. Based on this years schedule, the parks may close much earlier than we're used to. The EMH will really help us out.
