We will be staying offsite at DTD in August. We are planning on spending one day at TL. I want to try to avoid a EE day, we are the get there early kind of family. Does anyone know the EE schedule for the water parks? Thanks!

Every morning in August is an EE day at both the water parks.

We were just at Typhoon Lagoon last week. We stayed offsite so didn't qualify for the EE. Just outside the gates they were giving wrist bands to the on-site guests. Everyone got to go through the turnstiles but then they only let the wrist band people to the attractions and lounge areas. Being let in to the first section was nice since it allowed us to rent a locker, get refillable mugs, etc. prior to the 10am opening. We were about 30 people back when they allowed the offsite people to enter the park. We still got a nice place for the six of us under a covering (shade!).

We get to go to TL 2x next month during our trip and I'm so excited!! :sunny: I just love that place!! :thumbsup2

We went to Typhoon last Thursday. When we arrived around 9:30, they were already letting people in. We were not onsite guests and we went right in.

What are the lounge areas? We'd still be allowed to grab a spot and some donuts while waiting for 10am, right?

Thanks for the info. We plan on getting there early, sounds like early entry doesn't effect lines too much!

After going through the turnstyles there is a "marketplace" area with gift shop, lockers, restrooms/changing rooms, and I think, Donuts. This area has no chairs or loungers. During the 1st week of April they were letting off site guests into this area, but not into the areas with chairs prior to the 10am opening. Right at 10am they let all guests through. We moved pretty quickly and found a place in the shade. I noticed that by about 11am people were really searching for chairs/loungers.

We did both BB and TL. The consensus from this group (ages 11 - 16) was they liked TL better. They thought both the TL wave pool and the lazy river were much better than at BB.
