I can see on Thrill Data that morning LLMP slots are already gone for Slinky and TSMM for our only park day before our DCL cruise. If we weren’t hopping, I would play the refresh game, but we are so my plan is to rope drop Slinky during early entry since we’re eligible for that perk. Of course, many other guests will have the same plan, and it’s a holiday weekend too. Realistically, how early should we be at the tapstiles to be ahead of the pack? Early entry starts at 8:30 that day. TIA!

I generally arrive 45 minutes prior.
Who knows how it will go the day you are there but we were not only let in 30 minutes prior to EE but the rides were running.

A lot of people were going to RofR including myself and of course that day it was not working so they were directing everyone to head towards Toy Story Land.
I'd actually considering walking that way to SDD if you have a fast pace walk because then there will be very few people between there and SDD where as all the families with little kids and tons of strollers will be headed to SDD with the masses the way the CM's direct them.

I would not walk that way. My morning they weren’t filling the SDD queue yet so the line was all the way back to the Walt theater show. Anyone trying to approach from GE would have been screwed.

If you have purchased LLMP, I would be looking at that for LL's (pre booking window ?)
Isn't Thrill Data giving you "trend" data, Not sure I understand how they can predetermine actual availability for a future day.

They have a feature where you can now see advance LLMP availability. I’ll certainly still try, as ideally I would prefer a LL for Slinky and TSMM so I can RD ROTR and save myself $100 for my family of 4. In the past when you booked FP+ 60 days in advance I had a lot of luck with the refresh game. But with this tighter window and only one park day I’m trying to play it safe.

It isn't trend data. Thrill Data (and others) can look at what available times eligible people can book right now. I assume OP's trip is soon even if they can't book it yet. Currently (well, as of about 15 minutes ago), Slinky had no available morning slots until Tuesday October 15 while Toy Story Mania had none until Monday October 14. and only at 11:40 AM then.

We always do slinky at rope drop. We get to the park 45 min early and head straight to slinky when they open the park (usually earlier than the 8:30). Head straight to slinky past the theater to the right. The line will be long but since they don’t fill the queues right away it moves fast when they start the ride. We have always been in in under 10 min.
