Hi, we are just finalising dates and will then be booking our first trip for August next year. :cool1::cool1: We are going to stay onsite and are thinking that we will make use of early EMH especially towards the beginning of our holiday.

This is all knew to us but I know that only some of the rides are open in each park during EMH. I was wondering if someone could give me an idea of how much we might expect to get done in that hour in August in each park and which rides are best to go to during EMH. (The kids are happy to give anything a go so we will not have any restrictions on the types of rides we want to go on.)

Thanks Jo

What time in August are you planning your trip. Crowds decrease alot toward the end of August. Most kids have started school and parents don't want to pull them out so early in the school year. Idea of time. We went with crowd level around 6-7. That's pretty crowded and EMH at Animal Kingdom. We road Expedition Everest 5 straight time. We did EMH at Holly Studios and road rock and roll roller coaster, Tower of Terror, and was in line for Toy story mania at the hour.

one more thing. You don't know hot until you've been to Disney World in August. Drink plenty of water and plan to leave park to swim, eat, or just rest during the hottest part of day. Return after 5 and it will start to cool down

Hi and thanks for your reply, it sounds like you can get quite a bit done even if it is busy. :goodvibes We need to be back in time for the kids to go back to school so are looking at something around 11-30th August. :goodvibes

Thanks yes we were already thinking of mainly mornings and evenings in the parks. If we are tired we will rest in the pm but if not we will swim as the girls will love it being warm enough to use an outdoor pool! :goodvibes

In every park Early EMH allows you to deal with two or three big ticket rides ahead of the masses. Absolutely worth it but they also make the park busier from about 11am onwards. However, if you either use a good touring plan or know your way around the parks that first extra hour can keep you ahead of the game all day.

Thanks, it certainly seems that it is worth making use of them then. My thoughts at the moment are that we will spend the morning in the park, have lunch and then head back to the resort for the afternoon so it shouldn't bother us if it is a bit busier later on. :goodvibes
