early embarkment

First time cruiser here. I've read that the latest time to embark is 4:30..but when is the earliest they will let you on the ship?

The terminal usually opens at 10:30, and they usually start letting people on the ship around noon. I have heard reports of people getting on as early as 11:30, and as late as 1:00, but I think 12:00-12:30 is the most common.

To add to that...I have never heard of 4:30 being the latest to embark...since the Mandatory life boat drill is at 4:00 sharp...and EVERYONE must attend that...Also the ships have been known to leave earler than expected if weather indicates. I would think 3pm would be the LATEST you'd want to push.

I think of it as the earler I can get on the ship...the sooner we can start enjoying.
