Early Dinner for MVMCP

We are going to MVMCP on the 7th December 2006 - we already have booked CP but we are already eating there for breakfast. Im now looking for somewher else to eat but i want to eat early - like around 5:30 ADR's.

Where else is good, we dont want Cali Grill or Ohana's.

The people we are gonig with are quite fussy eaters!!

We have 4:50 ADR at the Plaza in MK. Cheaper than the buffets/character meals, and the food was good when we ate there in '02.

Also, there is Liberty Tree Tavern, which seems popular for these things. It is a buffet/character meal with decent food (ate here before MNSSHP in '03).

I would suggest Kona Cafe. The food there is excellent! I'm a picky eater as well, and there was plenty for me to choose from. Check out the menu on allearsnet.com if you want first. Plus, its convenient to take the monorail right over to MK>

We're having dinner at WCC at the WL. It's only a boat ride away.

We are doing Chef Mickey before MVMCP at 5. It doesn't take long to get to MK from The Contemporary.

We are eating at Narcoosee's at the GF @ 5:30 before MVMCP. Wishes is at 6 that night, so we might even be able to get a window seat and have a good view!! It is an easy monorail ride away from the party!!

We attended MVMCP last year, and MNSSHP the year before that -- both times, we booked sit-down, TS meals timed for right before the party (LTT last year for Christmas, and Tony's prior year for Halloween).

For us (DS, now 8, DH, and me), we found that having a big dinner right before the parties really slowed us down and made it impossible to enjoy any of the treats at the party. It took us a long time walking around before we felt ready to hit many rides, etc.

THIS December, when we do MVMCP, we're having a blow-out breakfast at Kona (our favorite), a big CS lunch at CHH, and then dogs at Casey's early. We figure this way we won't feel stuffed, we can enjoy party treats, and if we're hungry we'll grab dessert. Just a thought for those of you who might want to consider an option OTHER than a big dinner before the party. We realized that what we really want to do after a big meal is walk around and then go to sleep -- it really does not prime us for a big night out.

For MNNSHP We're doing Grand Floridian Cafe. We started out at Tony's, then switched to the Plaza, but we were already eating there another noght so now we're at GFC. I'm looking forward to it. For MVMCP we're having tea at the Grand Floridian, but we're all adult ladies for that one.
