Early December discounts

Does Disney typically offer room only discounts for early December ?

They usually do. The first or second week of December is almost always when we plan our trips for and we have almost always had a room discount deal available to use.

Agree. Typically the second week and the week of Christmas, up to the 23rd are less busy. It's a great time to go and usually you can get a good promotion.

Anyone know when these promotions are announced?

The last couple of years the Winter discounts have been released in mid to late July. Before that it was late August I believe. It's really anybody's guess when Disney will decide to release the discounts or if they will release them.
