Early December AP Rate.....HELP?

Having a little trouble with early December AP rates? Reservations told me, SSR and CBR are the only resorts offering early December AP rates

Which resort were you wanting? Pop Warner is the first week in December so it's hard to get a value resort during that timeframe. Keep checking back- people cancel and/or change resorts, thus opening up new possibilities. It's easy to check via the website after you put in your AP #. Play around with the dates a bit and sometimes something will show up. You could always do a split stay if the last few days had the AP rate, for instance. I'd also check the public code rate- it might actually be a better deal- then you can book it with just a one day/one park pass that you can use to upgrade to next year's AP. ---Kathy

I have existing reservations for both AKL and POFQ for myself and friends. I called last week to apply the AP discount and was told "sorry can't offer the discount because both these resorts are sold out". My dates are Dec 6-11.

I tried to apply a discount to the WL for a stay I just returned from and was told the same thing :"sorry, that resort is sold out so we cannot offer the discount".

So to the OP, maybe SSR and CBR are the only resorts not sold out ?

This is also very popular for DVC Members because points are very low. Mousefest is also early Dec.

No, I was offered POP, two of the All stars (Sports and Music), CSR, and PORS. However, I'm traveling solo, so even with having to buy a one day MYW ticket, the Chase Visa code came out cheaper for me than the AP code.
