Early Christmas present...

Well, my D200 that I've had since the day they were released will soon be put out to pasture. My DW has gotten me an early Christmas present. I got the e-mail confirmation this morning that I will be receiving a new Nikon D610 along with the Nikon 70-200mm f/4 G FX VR ED AF-S NIKKOR. The email states that I will be receiving the items on Tuesday the 22nd. I can't wait to use it. We will be going to the Disney parks and then the 7 night eastern Caribbean cruise the first week in November so I should get some nice pics. I have 2 - 64 gig cards and I'm looking forward to filling them up. (I'll most likely pick up a couple more before we leave).

I'll post some pics along with my personal review when I return......

Congrats! Enjoy your new camera and I look forward to seeing some photos. Let us know if the D610 has any dust bunnies like the D600. That was the only reason I returned mine.

I love my 70-200mm f4 Nikon lens, I traded my 70-200 f2.8 due to weight and have not been sorry.
