Early Check Out Penalty?

Just wondering - is there any "penalty" for checking out a day or two early? I could extend the trip on one end, but not the other. It still would be a big savings by not staying the last two nights. Want to know whether or not to pursue this with my TA. Thanks!

If you have a room only reservation I believe you can make changes to it, including cancellation, up to 5 days before arriving with no penalty. If you have a package and are within the 45 day limit, I believe there are fees to make changes, especially if the cost of the package will be going down. If you are further out than the 45 days, I believe you can make changes with out a penalty.

We checked out a day ahead of our scheduled departure two summers ago and we were refunded for that one night stay.

I assume you are talking about the stay 4 get 3 free deal. That you are considering booking the 7 days, but leaving after 5.

They will not bed check you. If you choose to leave early, they will not know. With express check out, it is not like you have to go done to the front desk to check out. It will be done automatically.

I do believe though that if you book 4, you can just get the fifth night free. You can still choose the 7 day tickets to get 3 days free, at least online.

I booked 6 nights and got 2 free no problem - the code to book this way is UWR and that lets you stay less than the 7 nights and get 3 free (or 2 or 1....)
