Early check in

We are planning our SWW day on the day we check into the Disney hotel. Will they let me check in the day or night before so we don't have to waste valuable time before HS to do it? Has anyone done this before?

We've been to DW & DL many times but this is our first time with MB. Feeling like a first time visitor about some things with it! I appreciate all of your help

You can check-in in the morning before going to DHS and they'll text you your room number when the room is ready.

The earliest you can check in is 7am the day of. But you can do online check in and they'll have everything ready. I do the online check in about a week in advance.

* The computers "roll" starting at 2:00am and continue through about
3:30am. However, check-in is forbidden until 6:05am to prevent folks
from checking-in at 4:00am and getting some sleep before doing parks.
This would be like getting and extra night free - and lots of folks who
would drive took advantage of this.

We were there 2 weeks ago and resort hopped. We had done the online check-in and luckily, 2 of our resort rooms were ready when we arrived around 10:00 a.m.

This is true (earliest check-in is actually 6am day-of your arrival) but to my knowledge, you'd still have to physically check-in at the resort in order for your tickets (and dining plan, if applicable) to be activated before proceeding to DHS. This is assuming you have a package booked. If you don't, disregard.

We do have a package - tickets & dining plan. I don't want to get into our room until much later in the day/evening. I just want to have our park tickets & dining plan activated. Would they do that the night before check in?

I don't know the answer to your question but IMO you could swing by the resort and check to make sure all is set up for the following day. Also of note you will (probably) want the parking pass so you get free parking. I don't know if they could give it to you early.....

No.

Your reservation doesn't start until the next morning. They can't check you in for that until the day of.
