Early Check-in at Poly?

Hi - Just wondering, we have 4 nights booked at the Poly after we come off the Disney Wonder - and I was wondering whether it is possible to check-in early to the Poly (or at least drop off our luggage and use the swimming pool, beach etc)?

If it is possible - is it something I need to request in advance? And how early, would early check-in be?

Yes, you can do it, and you don't have to let them know ahead of time. If your room is not ready, then they store your luggage in a secure location, and you can go swim or do whatever you want. There are restrooms out by the pool so you can change there.

More often than not, we've had great success with early check-in at the Poly. I don't think you can request it before arrival...it's more like luck of the draw, first come, first served. We typically get there around 8 am and are able to get right into our room.

Oh wow 8am thats great!

I don't mind putting my luggage somewhere and waiting for the room - it will just be nice to let the children go by the pool after dealing with luggage and international immigration at 6am from the cruise!!
