Early Character Meals and Buses

I have a character meal at 8:05 A.M. My question is when do the buses start running at the resorts. we are at all star music. Thanks.

Two weeks ago we had 8 AM character breakfasts at Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom and we caught the bus between 7:00 - 7:15 and we arrived in pleanty of time, a little early in fact. We were staying at ASMo, which shares the bus with the other All Stars. Hope you have a great time. Be sure to NOT let a CM talk you into taking a taxi.

And here I was all set to recommend a taxi. Buses can be notoriously unreliable - and if you just miss one, the next one may make you late for your reservation. Some character meals (Princess meals in particular) generally won't hold your spot if you are late. I'd never take a bus to make a dinner reservation, unless I had an hour to spare - which I never have at WDW.

A CM told us we had to take a taxi to make our 8AM reservation for Donald's breakfast at Animal Kingdom, but they would not let any cars into the parking lot until 8:15AM, including taxi's, so we had the driver take us back to the hotel. As we were getting out of the taxi a bus headed for the Animal Kingdom pulled up. A few days later we had 8AM reservations for Cinderella's Royal Table and just walked out to the Magic Kingdom bus stop about 7AM and the bus was there about 10 minutes later. Did the ssame exact thing the next day to go to Magic Kingdom and catch the monorail over for our 8:30AM breakfast at 1900 Park Fare. We didn't have any problems wth the buses and getting to where we needed to go on time.

Great news, kristasmom! We have a 8:05 ADR at CP in August. I have read that the buses run early enough, but I have been worrying about it anyway. We will make sure that we are out at the bus stop plenty early (just before 7:00 am) that morning.
