Early character breakfast at Chef Mickey's - when do buses start running?

We have a 7:35 reservation for Chef Mickey's. We are staying at AS Sports. Will the buses be running to the MK early enough to get a monorail to the Contemporary - will the monorails be running? We will have our car but the kids would think it was really cool to ride the monorail into the contemporary for breakfast.

Question when do resort buses start running to the parks? When do the monorails start?

Disney Transportation has service for early-morning resort breakfast reservations. Check with your resort concierge for specific times, but I'd say they start around 7:00 AM if not a little sooner. Monorail service also begins at 7:00 AM.

Disney recommends that you be at your resort bus-stop at around 60 minutes prior to your seating time. For MK based breakfasts (Chef Mickey's, 'Ohana, 1900 Park Fair etc), stand at the 'Magic Kingdom' load zone. When the bus arrives inform the bus driver that you will be going to a character breakfast, and tell him of your ultimate destination. As long as the park is not open, the driver will drop you off directly at the Contemporary Resort's bus stop.

For future reference, guests headed to Epcot resort breakfasts (Cape May Cafe) should wait in the 'Disney's Hollywood Studios' load zone.

While others have posted about the bus drivers doing that, others have posted them not doing that. So I would say there is a 50/50 chance of that happening.
