EARLY bus to Downtown Disney?

On July 24, they are having a special shopping event from 6-9 AM for DVC members. Does anyone know if they will have any buses running early that day? We will be at Wilderness Lodge.

Nope, you will have to find your own transportation. I did one of those 'special' shopping events for AP holders. Never again. I found that outside of a few less than wonderful sale items, just about everything was onsale the rest of the day for any guest!! It was hugely crowded, hard to get around, and it took forever to get checked out.

You will either have to get a cab over or share a ride with someone with a car.

I've been to a couple of those passholder sales also. Pure zoo!!

The first year was REALLY bad, the 2nd year a little better, but not much.

I won't go back.

Yep, that was the one we went to..must have been 2008! We didn't even consider going back last Dec. Like I said, way too much of the sale stuff was on sale everywhere in WDW. It was truly annoying to get up really early and find a way over to DTD at 5:30am, and then to deal with the mob scene and the hour long wait in the checkout line, only to discover that with a few exceptions, most of the stuff we had purchased, was on sale in MK at the Emporioum that day!!!

I drove there last year, 2009. I arrived about 45 minutes before store was to open. I saw the length of the line outside, turned around and went back to bed for an hour.
