Early Breakfast Walkup

My son's only request is for Chef Mickeys (one of the few character meals we have not done) he saw it on the monorail. I have not been able to find a adr for a family of 4-5 (dh is doing a tour one day so I could do it without him)

Do you think that we would have a chance as a walkup at 7:30 when they open? We are staying in WL so it would require a boat over but if not we could eat at kona or some place else. I know we have skipped early morning adrs in the past when things got too late the night before do you think we would have a shot?

I am not promising you anything, but we did get a 7:30am walk up for a party of three the week after thanksgiving. We were staying at the contemporary though, so it was easy for dh to run down and check. We are going the first week of november this year and plan on trying again because we cant get a reserevation online. I think you are correct in assuming some people skip those early morning adrs, but I also think there is a good chance we I'll both be looking for another breakfast! The wave in the contemporary also has decent food, so that is an option if CM doesn't work out. Good luck!
