Early breakfast transportation

How does this work?

We are staying at Pop and have a 8:00am ADR for Crystal Palace on a day that MK opens at 9am, no EMH.

Because we are traveling without the kids this trip, I am considering changing the ADR to an early breakfast at WCC instead (we'd be going for the food, not the characters). How would we get there?

I heard that there was a Character Breakfast bus, but confused as to how it works. Is it one bus that anyone at your resort with an early ADR gets on and then they take you wherever you need to go, stopping at possibly multiple locations along the way; or do you wait at the resort for the specific bus for your destination?

I am guessing that to go to WCC, we would need to travel by bus to MK then by boat to WCC. Would the boat even be running to/fro WCC and MK around 7-7:30am on a day that MK doesn't open until 9am, considering that the earliest MK ADR you can make is 8am?

Getting to WCC for an 8am breakfast is easy.

Get out to your bus stop at about 6:30 - 6:45 am and take the first Magic Kingdom bus that comes along. (They start about 6:30 am).

From the Magic Kingdom bus stop walk to the Contemporary, through the building, then out to the boat dock area.

From there take a boat to Wilderness Lodge. (They are the small boats). Those boats start running at 6:45 am.

It will probably be difficult to get a bus from MK to WCC that early because even though buses run "from" WCC to MK that early, they probably won't be going in the other direction.

Oy! Doesn't sound easy to get to WCC. Over 1 hr in transport time? I guess I will keep my CP ADR and save WCC for next trip when we have a rental car.
