If you have say a 730 am ressie at Ohana's but are staying at WL how do you get there?

I guess I could drive BUT the plan is to hit the parks right after and I can't leave my car there that long and we prefer to take WDW tranportation oncethere.

Same question to get to the beach club.

Thanks

Drive... or call a cab. You can always just drive back to the WL aftwards and take the boat to MK or whatever.

Not an issue for us because we prefer to drive to the parks and never use the busses.

We took cabs 3 times to early ADRs it was quick and easy and only $20. It was worth every penny not to worry about transportation:banana:

There is also the "breakfast bus."
For the Poly, you take the early bus to Magic Kingdom.
If noone is there, the driver may be nice enough to drop you off directly at the Poly.
You have to ask politely and there's no guarantee.
Worst case, you monorail from the MK.
We were dropped off both times we had early ADR's at 'Ohana.

Same for Beach Club although take the Studios bus.
The driver dropped off the rest of the crowd at the Studios and then swung past the Beach Club for us.
Once again, no guarantee.

Depending on the parks opening hours I think the busses starts running at least 1hr prior to park opens.
So if MK opens at 8am, the bus will definitely starts running at 7am. You can hop onto MK bus and transfer over to monorail to Poly (I asked this board about monorail start time and the response was 7am... yay!). It might be cutting it close but you'll get to your destination.

BC you can hop onto EPCOT bus and hike it over to the International gateway then to BC.
PP wrote about going to DHS and the boat, that might work but the is a bit slower than other transportations I think. But it's definitely an option. You could also walk from DHS to BC but that's quite a walk.

There's a boat to and from WL and MK but I can't remember for the life of me what time they start.

We're also staying at the WL and have a 7:30 am ADR for breakfast at 'Ohana. I called the WL yesterday and was told the boat to the CR begins at 6:45 am. Be on the dock a few minutes early to ensure getting on that first boat. The boat ride from the WL to the CR is about 10 mins. From the CR, go up to the 4th floor and take the monorail over 2 stops to the Poly. You should arrive around 7:15 - 7:20 am.

Same question to get to the beach club.

As for the Beach Club, well personally I wouldn't do a breakfast at the BC while staying at the WL. It's not at all convenient. The only way to get to the BC before the parks open is by cab. You can't rely on the "Character Breakfast Bus". I believe it stops at the resorts once around 6:30 ish.

If your BC ADR is on an DHS EMH-am day, then you can take the bus to DHS, then the boat to BC. Otherwise, I'd make the ADR late morning so you can walk thru Epcot to get to the BC.

Another vote for the ease of taking cabs for am breakfasts!!

We're not bringing a car seat for our 2 year old...we bought the CARES harness for the plane.

So...if you use a cab to get to an early breakfast, how do you handle not having a car seat? :confused3

Car seats are not required for public transportation which includes taxis and buses.

When taking a taxi, I hold my little guy on my lap and buckle us both in together. That's what the majority of us here in the city do where we take taxis daily.

You learn something new every day! I NEVER knew that about cabs! :)

Really! Thanks for the info - I just assumed it wasn't an option. Love the DIS. You guys rock.

There are buses running from the resorts, to the parks, starting at 6:30am. They are basically there to get guests to early morning ADRs and tours.
If you need to get to the Polynesian, GF, or CR...take the bus to the MK. When you get on the MK bus, ask the driver what the fastest way from the MK to that particular resort is...monorail, boat, walking?? Many times, a driver will offer to drop you off there rather then have you get off at the MK.
If you do have to get off at the MK, you can just walk over to the CR...about 8 mins. You can take the resort monorail to the Polynesian and GF..plan on it being about 20 mins on the monorail..add time for the wait.
To get to the Epcot resorts, you can take the DHS bus and then walk back to YC/BC or BW. But, that walk will take you about 15-20 mins..plan accordingly. I would actually suggest taking a cab to those resorts from your resort...much faster.
