Early Breakfast at Hollywood Studios

We have an ADR at Hollywood & Vine an hour before the scheduled park opening at Hollywood Studios. Has anyone had experience recently getting to the access point to get into the park with the ROTR crowds? Does anyone know if they have this clearly marked well ahead of the crowds to get in so we can easily access the entrance point before the park opens? I know this isn't an issue under normal circumstances but from the photos it looks like so many people are in line to get in there isn't a clear path to get to the entrance for a breakfast prior to opening. (without working through the entire crowd of people) Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

What time is your ADR and when is your trip? Recently, I believe DHS has been opening at 7:00am and I don't believe there are pre-opening ADRs that early. So I believe everyone is in the same crowd, no special entrance for ADRs. Guests have been allowed into the park and onto Hollywood Blvd early, maybe around 6:30am. If your trip is still a few months out, park hours may change; watch the RotR thread to know the status of park-opening procedure as your trip nears.

Just wanted to second that what @lanejudy is correct, DHS has only had 6am and 7am openings since Rise of the Resistance opened.... so no precedent for what will happen for a line for PPO ADRs for eventual 9am park opening (if they stay 9am).

My trip is next 1/30-2/3. They just changed HA opening to 7am those days .

With your trip being close to spring break time, I would think the park will open early- either 7am or at least 8am.

I'm glad you asked this. We have an August trip upcoming and I was wondering if an ADR at Hollywood and Vine would help us bypass the rope drop crowd. I didn't realize that they were opening earlier...I wonder when they'll go back to 9am

Over the last 2 weeks, no more 6am or 7am openings. They have been consistently opening at 8am.

I too have PPO ADR at Hollywood & Vine in June just for any proven chance that it helps with RD MFSR...also I am interested in signing up for a RotR BG without being surrounded by thousands of people!


Though if I had the option of having a slight RD advantage or the park opening 1 hr earlier, I would pick the park being open 1hr earlier and not having to eat at H&V!
