Early Breakfast at DHS - bus or taxi?

Hi we have 8am reservations at DHS but the park opens at 9am. I understand the transporation opens early - but does it open early enough to get from POR to DHS in time to make our 8am character breakfast?

Buses start running around 6:30 or so. They do not run as frequently this early so I would give yourself plenty of travel time. For an 8:00 reservation I would be at the bus stop around 7:15.

We stayed at POR our last trip and did 2 early entry breakfasts, one at Epcot and one at MK. Like the PP said, we got to the bus stop about 7:00-7:15 and didn't have any problems getting there in plenty of time.

When I asked this question before someone suggested calling the Front Desk the night before your ADR and reminding them that you need a bus to which particular park you are eating at. I did do this, but I'm not sure that it was necessary.

There is no reason to call the front desk, the buses run on a schedule. Just go out to the bus stop and the bus will arrive eventually.

I would be at the bus stop at 7:15 a.m. And if it's not there within 10-15 minutes, take a taxi. Don't stay there and wait like I did last year. We ended up being late, around 10 minutes.
