Sorry, guys...posted this originally on the wrong forum...

Anyway, if i purchase the early bird pass for $85.00 and decide later that I want to upgrade to an AP...is this possible. If so, how do I do it?

Called Universal and they are clueless. Thought I could get better responses on this board.

Thanks.

go to guest services and they can upgrade you to an AP anytime during your visit.

Yes, Amity 3 is correct. You will be credited the $85 toward the purchase of the AP. Your expiration for your AP will be one year from the first day you used the $85 ticket.

So if you buy the EB pass and don't use it and decide to upgrade, would the date it expires be one year from the date your exchanged it for the new AP. I was thinking of buying these for our trip in August 2007, but not sure if we want an AP instead for a couple of us, who visit Orlando regularly. We were thinking of doing WDW for 4 nights if they offer the free ddp this August, but if they don't we are thinking of doing US/IOA for 2 nights (then moving to the DVC resorts of choice).

Yes, in that case, the expiration date would be one year from the date that you upgrade to the AP.

One more question...do they have guest services at the hotels where you can do the upgrade?

No, the hotel guest services can't do upgrade. It must be done at the parks.

Thanks from me too!

Also, do you know how much longer the $85 EB ticket will be around?

No one knows when a promotion will end. It could last months or days.
