Early Bird Check In with Rapid Rewards travel

My brother travels a lot for business and has very generously allowed us to use his Southwest Rapid Rewards credits for our Disney trip. I know he has to book the flights for us. Will we be able to add Early Bird Check-In and pay the fee?
