Early am flight out use ME?

Hello, our flights have changed to a 8:30am flight out of MCO to Chicago on a Sat. Do you still use ME or rent a towncar. I am leaning toward town car so maybe I can sleep in a little more. How far time wise is MCO from WDW? Do you still need to be 2hrs before your flight at the airport? Thanks!

It takes about 1/2 hour to get to airport. I would allow 2 hours at airport. It depends on what time you are flying. The A side has long lines almost every day.

Yes, I agree. We were at MCO for our flight home last Wednesday (SWA) and the security line was very long. It moved quickly, but we felt like we were at WDW on a really crowded day!

Just a quick little factoid... over one third of all departing flights at Orlando International take off prior to 9am. Because of this, be prepared for potential long lines at ticketing counters, sky caps, and of course, TSA.

I would definetly recommend arriving 2hrs prior to departure. It's better to relax and be early, than stressed, rushed, and even miss the flight.
