I called the concierge at SSR and Disney Dining line and I have received 3 different stories.. I have 8:05 ADR's most mornings for character breakfasts (parks open at 9).. what time do I catch the bus or do the buses even come that early?! I am concerned.. I do not want to miss my character breakfasts, especially since I have been stalking the disney dining website to get them!!

We stayed at SSR last year and had a few early ADR's. We drove to the parks on the days we had early ADR's to ensure we didn't miss our time slot. Disney do advise leaving at least 1.5 hours for travelling from resorts to the parks. One year whilst using Disney transportation to get to an 8.15 ADR at magic Kindom from AKL, we were 30-40 minutes late but they still honoured the ADR when we got there. We'd allowed an hour to travel. We'd driven to the Ticket & transportation centre and were told to get on the resort monorail for some reason. There was no monorail going directly to the magic kingdom so we were told to get a bus or boat from the grand Floridian. I'm not sure if this is usual practice early in the morning or if this was because there was a problem with the transportation.

If you are going to a character breakfast IN a park, you should be fine. The busses are running by about 7 am. If you're at the bus stop by 7 you should be at any park before 8.

I would be more concerned about getting to some resort breakfasts. For Cape May I guess you'd have to take the bus to DHS and then the boat to the BC/YC. Trouble is that the boat is slow and BC/YC is the 3rd stop. If 1900PF or Ohana, bus to MK and then either monorail or boat to GF/Poly. Since the monorail goes to CR and then TTC first, the boats would be quicker if they are running that early.
