I was just wondering how far in advance universal normally releases the schedule for early admission for hotel guests. We're going at the end of September and this is the first time I've been able to take advantage of the early admission. Currently the website just says early Park admission is not available at this park on this date for both parks so just wondering if it normally gets updated nearer the time?

Our trip is next month and they just recently updated the August calendar within the last week or so.

Sam you should see the calendar update at least two months out

I have to admit to being a little disappointed. I was hoping that US would be the Early Entry park when we we're there the last weekend in August. IoA was the EE park when we went in Jan '15, so wanted US to be open early this time.

That's great, thanks for your help everyone. I'll keep an eye out, hopefully they'll update towards the end of the month!

With the opening of Kong and later hulk in the summer, many are wishing the EE would be IOA

Don't know what will be open besides potterville for EE

But did read of peeps on Kong at 8:30 am
If it isn't open during EE, those there in the morning EE, would be a lot closer to it when park officially opens

Besides potter, there are a few rides open during EE

Where do you find the "schedule for early admission for hotel guests"?
Thanks.

You can use the UO website or quick access link sticky

Go to park hours

The park that opens before the other is the one with EE

But in July both parks open the same time on the dates I looked at

In that case EE is one hour prior to official opening time that is listed on the calendar

I was reading the calendar as there will be no early opening in Sept for resort guests because crowds are lower, but from this thread it sounds like they just have not announced it yet? I'll keep an eye out.

Haven't heard that

EE will be available in September
The UO site listed the one hour EE is one of the perks for staying on site

Yep, they've always had EE every September we've been there.........can't see it changing.

(We just never take advantage....) :D

Where did you hear that? Sounds very doubtful as that is a perk for the onsite hotels.

So looking at the calendar for August it looks like the last week and a half IoA is the park with EE. Doesn't US usually get to be the EE park during slow times? My guess is because Hulk will be open by then.

I didn't hear it anywhere. I said that was how I (personally) had been interpreting the calendar. Having never been in September, based on experience at other parks where these types of things don't always happen during slow times. I'm glad to hear it's not the case, although I'm not sure we will take advantage either.

Ah, I misinterpreted your post.

I was on the phone with UO yesterday about our reservation and she told me US is the EE park for the time frame we are there, 8/31-9/5.

Ok so for July 29th it says 7am for both parks. So that is the time we can get in to both parks if we are resort guests?
