I am planning our family's first trip to Universal during the last week in May. We will be staying at the Hard Rock Hotel so we have early admission. The calendar on the website shows early admission for Universal Studios on every day in May. From what I have read, I thought the parks alternated early admission days. Could the calendar possibly be wrong or change?

Thanks for your help!

We went in January and stayed at Cababa Bay. Big poster in lobby showed US was the early park through March. So, no, it doesn't always alternate.

EE can vary

Check the main page of UO website before you go

Should see current park EE there

I don't think it has ever been the case that the parks alternated early admission days. Where did you read that?

I'm going in June. I figured everyday was EE for on-site guests at BOTH parks. I guess not?

I have HEARD of that happening (probably when very busy/big event) but never actually seen it happen (We gobefore "summer season"). Usually it is one park or the other. Might be the same park all week, might change. The front desk at the hotels are usually very up-to-date with park info.

Right now, the EE calendar is showing no EE at either park for all of June...which probably means they will wait to post which park when it gets closer (especially with the soft & regular openings of Kong & Hulk this summer.)

if staff is in place, any changes can happen at the last minute.

for the first time in years, 2 years back in october, both parks had EE
found out when getting the boat back to the hotel one night.

signage was up at the boat docks, and lobby area of the hotel.

they had both parks with EE for 2 mornings.
high volume period out of the blue.

all hotels sold out and large tour groups from SA would be in the parks for those 2 days.

first and only time i have been there where both parks opened early due to expectation of a full house.

there are packages for anyone and groups for the offsite good neighbor hotels.
many give the perk of EE.

I'm not sure where I read it. I've been trying to read everything possible since I basically know nothing about Universal. It's no big deal. I'm sure we will have a great vacation and just enjoy whichever park is open early.
