Earlier DME mailing policy?

Happily, our DME tags just arrived! Info was correcct The surprise is that we're not leaving until October 17th! Don't get me wrong; I'm not complaining (it makes the trip seem even closer ). I'm just surprised. In all the times we've used DME, the tags didn't arrive until about 3 weeks before departure. Does anyone know if this is a new DME policy, or is it just a fluke.

If I recall correctly, they now mail both ME docs and package docs out at 45 days.

We're arriving at MCO on 10/4/06 and received our ME booklet and tags over a week ago.

Funny part is we got two envelopes on the same day, both with a booklet and tags. Both sets of tags had our room only confirmation number on it,and they each had another number above that. The second number was different on one set of tags. Other than that, the names and dates, and resort were all correct.

Will today be the day?????????? I have to teach all day and then hustle home to see if the mail lady is my friend. She is always bringing stuff to us from Disney Shopping and comments that we must REALLY like Disney!

We today be the magical day............ I will know about 4:30!

We should be fine to check in at the airport and the hotel as long as we have our ID's and reservation information. I thought we were supposed to get a free meal voucher at Planet Hollywood at least...Should I be expecting more stuff?

Are you sure these are the DME luggage tags and not just WDTC luggage tags? DME luggage tags are sticky yellow paper, and are bound as pages within a DME booklet. The tags have barcodes and a bunch of pre-printed information such as your name, reservation number, etc. Is this what you got?

The ones I got are the sticky yellow kind, they say AK on them.

I know I got the DME tags. It was in an evelope, not a larger packet...... now I can't wait for my final package information and cool luggage tags.....

ABout 8.5 inches long, 2 inches wide. The area where you remove the backing from each end (the parts that stick together) are each 1.5 inches long.
