Earl of Sandwich.

sounds good...there is one at the Philadelphia airport now. we'll have to give it a try.

What is the kids grilled cheese like? Is it on white bread? Does it happen to have white american cheese? I'm trying to find out if my girls might like them or if I should plan on getting them something before we go there. TIA

Anyone???

I like the BLT, but it has too much pepper on it sometimes. The kid's grilled cheese is a great snack.

You can get the kids grilled cheese in the adult size - no difference in cost. Your friendly "tip of the day".

Our favorite is also The Original ... but we can honestly say that of all the sandwiches we've had there, we've never had a bad one!

We love Earl of Sandwich. I love the Caprese. My DH swears by the Meatball. Don't forget to get dessert too. The brownies are so good, we pick up more to bring home.

Me and DH love the Italian!

During the holidays I love the holiday sandwich...

I had the grilled cheese made with American cheese for my DD once. They had no problem making it that way. My DD also loves the kids pizza sandwich. My only "complaint" is that since the bread is baked fresh, the PB&J is served hot. They can't make it any other way and my other DD didn't like it.
Hubby and I make it a point to go at least once every trip, and we always enjoy it. The soups and salads are also delicious!!

OMG, I LOVE THE EARL  You can't go wrong with the Caprese and some Broccoli and Cheese soup, YUMMY!!!!

It's on Earl bread - not Wonderbread type bread at all. More texture to it. I think it has cheddar on it, but you can probably get other cheese on it.

The solution to this is going more than once during your trip.

EXACTLY! Hubby is joking that we'll be eating at Abeulo's and Earl of Sandwich many times on this trip. The first time I had EoS was last year before a cruise. It was so good, there was no question we were going back after the cruise. I had the caprese both times. I cannot wait to get it again. Multiple times, of course.

I was one also that stood outside the line and stared at the menu for ten minutes trying to decide. :confused3 They have great salads made right in front of you also that makes it tougher. I have always ordered the Italian and my wife the Tuna and have been very very pleased. Also if you were not aware they have several side options like fruit cups and deserts to please the harder to please. It's a happy place for sure for the price.

I think I'm leaning towards The Earl's Club, minus the tomato and lettuce. Any way I can get melted mozzarella on top instead of swiss?

Does Earl take the DDP?

Is it a CS credit? What do you get? Sandwich, drink, dessert?

Yes they take the DDP. I believe you get a sandwich, drink and dessert. And Yes, it's a CS. I heard it is really cheap if paying OOP and they give a 15% discount for AAA members too.

We can't wait to try it for the first time later this week.:banana::banana:
