Earl of Sandwich

I love Earl of Sandwich! The Earl's Club is my favorite, along with a nice big bowl of tomato soup. :cloud9: The EoS at Downtown Disney is always crazy crowded, but I live near one here in San Antonio and there is never anyone in there! Most of the time we are the only ones in the whole restaurant.

Very good food at a very reasonable price. No wonder the line is always so long but as others have said it moves quickly.

We ate there in April. Great food...plus on the dining plan....one of the few downtown! If we need a quick lunch downtown, it's where we would go!

LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't think you can go wrong there with anything! I've had the tuna sandwich and a couple of their salads and loved them all. DH loves the cannonballs meatball sub and the hawaiian. DH also loves the potato salad. The cookies and brownies are amazing as well!

Side note - this place is a must each trip. I really wanted to have my fav salad when I was 5 mos. pregnant. But I had a huge aversion to lettuce when I was preggo and just couldn't do it. The day we went there the only thing that sounded good was a baked potato, which they had. Let me tell you it was the best baked potato with butter I ever ate. Ah, pregnancy...kept me from enjoying a lot of my WDW favs that trip!

I have to agree with nytimez on this one. We went to EoS last time we were there in January 2009 and after hearing great things, we were really underwhelmed by the food, and I'm a huge sandwich person. It was OK of course because the dessert at the Ghirardelli store more than made up for it :) Truthfully, I wouldn't go out of my way for it or you might be disappointed.

I sort of agree with nytimez also....we like it and have waited on the loooooong line at times but it's basically a sandwich place that serves warmed sandwiches...it is better than other counter service restaurants at Disney, I'm not sure that's saying much... we have an EoS at the International Mall in Tampa so I may just be a little jaded too! ;)

We go there once or twice while in disney. Never knew about AAA discount. We also use our disney reward cards there. Love the sandwiches and wraps.

:lovestruc This place is AWESOME. We eat here multiple times during our trip. All the sandwiches that I have tried have been great. DH and I both love the Caribbean Jerk. IMO EoS can not even be compared to a Subway... ARGH!
