Earl of Sandwich

I fell in love with Earl of Sandwich at DD when we were there in September. Especially their bread for the subs. Anybody know of any "top secret recipes" for it?

I think they actually have it in there cookbook. I have it somewhere and will check and see if I can find it.

we too love the Earl's bread........I could eat the Full Montagu every visit.....maybe a few times

We found the Earl of Sandwich to be a real jem in the way of goods eat for a reasonable price. It is now an annual stop for us when we are at DTD/Marketplace!

Absolutely LOVE their tomato soup!!!

We're going to Vegas for thanksgiving, and I about jumped out of my seat and yelped when I found out they just opened one in the Planet Hollywood (old Alladin) hotel. I'm planning on going at least two or three times! I love that place

The boyfriend and I fell in love with earl of sandwich about 3 trips ago. We make a POINT to go there every trip.

We've been to cali grill, le cellier, palio, boma, f&w festival and countless other CS restaurants and buffets and TS restaurants.

Where is the ONLY place that my boyfriend and I have continuously gone to every trip? The ONLY place where we say "wow" when we leave? The Earl of Sandwich!

a couple weeks ago we were there and we got 3 sandwiches each... one to eat and 2 to take home.

They were still good 2 days later and heated up in the toaster oven.

I think its the bread... they must finish cooking it RIGHT before you get it. yummmmm. We actually asked to speak to the manager and BEGGED him to make an earl of sandwich in south florida.

We tried it after reading the rave reviews here and I wasn't wowwed I ordered the caprese sandwich? with the mozzarella and tomato... it was "ok"... DH ordered the Cuban sandwich? I believe. He thought it was so-so.... our girls were absolutely disgusted by the PB & J.... they serve it on the same bread as the adult sandwiches and they TOASTED it..... Thank heavens it was a CS credit for each of them and we had extras!!! We'd gotten an upgrade to concierge for the first time ever at the YC so they went back and chowed on the PB & J uncrustables in the club lounge I haven't ruled it out entirely though... I will give it a second chance next time w/ a different sandwich. What is everyone's favorite?

I love the FULL MONTAGU.......and my hubby loves the Beef and Blue.....my neighbors went once with us and they loved them both and their son had the cannonball which is a meatball sub......try something again
