I don't think i would want to do it on vacation, in case there was any pain or infection - I wouldn't want the daughter's vacation ruined or for her to have a bad memory. Maybe instead she can pick out a first pair of real earrings to wear (after the piercing studs).
I agree with Lila. Have it done at home by a reputable person and let them heal. Then as soon as you get to WDW, you can buy some new earrings to put in the holes.

I was going to do the same thing for DD - get her ears peirced at the World!! But a few DISers suggested I do not for the above reasons, and I have to say I agree with them
There is so much going on you could easily forget a cleaning.
They are in and out of the pools so infection is a possibility.
Who wants an infection on vacation!!
Anyhoo, just a thought. I am kind of glad I changed my mind (although I still think it would have been cool!)
Thanks for the tip about Walmart. I checked it out tonight and they are very reasonably priced nice starters for $10 and up with the piercing free. (The mall wanted to charge a minimum of $35 for ugly silver balls.) I was also surprised to see Minnie Starter earings they were $30. Very cute.
On a side note they had some Mickey and Minnie gold necklaces on clearance for $10. DD got a Mickey one for a pillow gift when we go.
