Ear hat embroidery

Random question - I bought DD a Minnie hat 2 years ago when I was at WDW, but didn't get it embroidered. She wants to bring it with us on this trip. Will I be able to get it embroidered when we are there, or do I actually have to purchase one there to get it embroidered?

I don't know the answer, since I have only done it during a purchase...

but I don't see why you couldn't. You would just have to pay for the embroidery and they could put it on the machine. As long as it is a Disney hat, I'm sure they wouldn't have a problem.
Maybe you could call the park and see what they say, just to be sure

They will only embroider previously purchased hats if they still sell them. See here for details on how/why I know this, but I was told it was because if something goes wrong with the embroidery they must have replacements on hand to redo. I wasn't told it that politely--more like: "it could be collectible and you could sue us"--but that was the gist.

Oh good. I see that they're still Disney Park merchandise on DisneyStore.com so I'm hopeful!
