Eagles fans rejoice, finally on DVD is a complete concert from the band's great Farewell Tour - Part One. Filmed with multiple camera's in stunning digital audio, this program will simply knock die hard Eagles fans (of which I am one, contending that along with Pink Floyd, Yes, Led Zeppelin and a few select others, The Eagles are one of the best rock bands in recorded history) off their feet.

The selections:

"The Long Run"
"New Kid in Town"
"Wasted Time"
"Peaceful Easy Feeling"
"I Can't Tell You Why"
"One of These Nights"
"One Day at a Time"
"Lyin' Eyes"
"The Boys of Summer"
"In the City"
"Already Gone"
"Tequila Sunrise"
"Love Will Keep Us Alive"
"No More Cloudy Days"
"Hole in the World"
"Take It to the Limit"
"You Belong to the City"
"Walk Away"
"Sunset Grill"
"Life's Been Good"
"Dirty Laundry"
"Funk #49"
"Heartache Tonight"
"Life in the Fast Lane"
"Hotel California"
"Rocky Mountain Way"
"All She Wants To Do Is Dance"
"Take It Easy"
"Desperado"

The set also includes two brand new songs, "No More Cloudy Days" from The Eagles and "One day at a Time" from Joe Walsh.

So...are you excited yet?

Oh thank you, thank you! My heart sank when I read Sherry's post because I forgot all about it last night.

I will set TIVO as soon as I get home!

I saw them live when they came to Austin on their Hell Freezes Over Tour. What a great show!

the eagles are one of my favorite bands.watched the concert last night, they still sound great.

I caught the tail end of it, thanks to perdidobay....I've had a long time crush on Don Henley, and while he still looks good, he sure does look OLD! :faint: Made me feel about 100 myself. :p

Anyway, they sure don't sound OLD! :) I love the Eagles, they are one of my all time favorite bands. I'll be tuning into Bravo, for sure! :)

I love the Eagles, The orginal greatest hits album is one of the best road music one out, BUT the show last night was not anything that great.

Don and company can not hold the notes as long or hit the high ones anymore.
Some of the songs sounded slow and painfull vs the orginal.

Time has not treated them well.

OMG!! What a wonderful concert!! hmmmm....they'll be in my area in October (around my birthday!) Tix go on sale Monday - maybe I'll try to get some!

OMG, I'm watching Bravo right now, and Joe Walsh....wow! I didn't think it was possible for people to get more wacky as they got more sober, but I think he's accomplished that feat! :p Either that or he kiilled a bunch of braincells in the process. :p

I disagree with the poster upthread who said they sound old. I think they sound fantastic, especially Don Henley. Glenn Frey sounds a little off key in some songs, but all in all, not bad! :) I'd definately pay to see them live, gotta check the tour schedule.

Awwww no way!! Don't be beatin up on my boys like that. :teeth: ;)

I saw the Eagles 2x during their "Hell Freezes Over Tour". I think that was back in 1994. They were great then. I did see them on NBC the other night, and they sounded good. Too bad Don Felder isn't with them anymore.

I watched?TIVO'd it last night. My husband (a guitar teacher) said the same thing. He said they guy who was playing with them cannot hold a candle to Don Felder.

They sounded great though. :cool1:
