E-Ride tickets @ MK gate, too?

Can you only buy E-Ride tickets at your resort or can you also buy them at the MK gate before you head in?
On All Ears it says you can buy them at the gate, on the DIS it says only at your resort.

I'm wondering cause we plan on being at the MK one night that E-Ride is planned anyway and if the kids are up to it we might want to stay for E-Ride so buying at the gate beforehand would be helpful.

You can purchase the tickets in advance at your resort.
From what I understand you can purchase the tickets in the MK the day of the E-Night. However, the tickets are limited, if you are going during a busy season you might not be able to get tickets the day of the event.

Dear Sharon,

Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World® Resort.

As you are aware, on specified nights, the Magic Kingdom® Park remains open for three additional
hours exclusively for resort guests who have purchased and redeemed special "Magic Kingdom E-Ride
Nights" tickets.

Price: Adults: $12 ($12.72) Children (3-9) $10 ($10.60)

The nine attractions scheduled to operate during "Magic Kingdom E-Ride Nights" are: Space Mountain,
Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, The Haunted
Mansion, Astro Orbiter, Tomorrowland Transit Authority, and The Country Bear Jamboree. Select
dining and merchandise locations will also be open. (All Attractions Subject to Rehabs & Other
Changes)

Current 2004 Dates:

May: 31
June: 2, 4, 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 18, 21, 23, 25, 28, 30
July: 2, 5, 7, 9, 12, 14, 16, 19, 21, 23, 26, 28, 30

Only Walt Disney World Resort guests who are using multi-day or annual passes for admission to the
theme parks are eligible to purchase and redeem "Magic Kingdom E-Ride Nights" tickets. Tickets may
only be purchased at Walt Disney World Resort Guest Services Desks, including the Walt Disney World
Dolphin, the Walt Disney World Swan, Shades of Green and the Downtown Disney Area Hotels.

Please note that the "Magic Kingdom E-Ride Nights" ticket does not provide admission into the Magic
Kingdom Park; it simply allows guests to remain in the park for three extra hours. It must,
therefore, be used in conjunction with the admission media previously mentioned. Guests must
exchange their "Magic Kingdom E-Ride Nights" tickets for wristbands at locations inside the Magic
Kingdom Park.

They advise you that they are only avaliable at the resort front desk because there are only a limited amount sold. You can purchase them at Guest Relations (City Hall) on the day of the event, "IF" it is not sold out already. And leave it to Disney to give mis-information but there are currently NO e-ride nights scheduled for June...

Where can a Walt Disney World Resort Guest Purchase tickets:
A limited number of tickets is available at Resort Guest Services locations, and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis (some nights sell out). Theme Park Ticket Windows only sell tickets on the day of the event (if available). Each person must have a ticket, even if a person does not intend to experience an attraction.

I thought you could only buy the tickets the day of the event. So if we are going the 2nd and the 7th I can buy tickets for both on the 2nd?

I just got off the phone with guest services and they also said there are no nights listed for June, just July We're going to be at WDW, staying on property 6/4 - 6/7 and 6/11 - 6/14, so I was REALLY looking forward to doing 2 nights while we're there. Hopefully they update the June dates soon.

I'm pretty sure you can buy your enight tickets four days before the date you want to go, at your hotel.

These are the current dates that are posted on ALL the CM information sites. I know that an email was sent that stated there were dates in June, but as of right now there are no June dates list that have been released to any CM's in the Magic Kingdom (of course that could always change...but as of right now there are no June dates... I believe the email was mis-information but I will post again if I find out differently).

As for purchasing the tickets they can be purchased at your resort front desk up to a week in advance. They are only avalaible at the park itself on the day of the event "If there are any tickets still avalaible" as there are a limited number of tickets they may or may not have any avalaible so it is best to get them in advance at the hotel.

When I check in on June 12th, would I be able to buy a ticket for an e-ride night at that time for the 14th, 16th or the 18th which are the dates for our stay?

I understand that there is confusion on whether they are actually offered for June.

Thanks everyone for the great info!! We are hoping to go June 2 and the 7th. I wanted to buy my ticket for the 7th early since we will be staying at BWV May 30-June but then over to the Royal Pacific Resort June 4-7. We will be checking into the Poly on the 7th but wont get there til around noon so I really wanted to by my ticket early.

I just at WDW about buying the tickets before the actual date of the e-ride night and they said that was not possible. So, if I wanted to go on the 14th, I had to buy it that day.

Anyone know for sure?

This is all very confusing!! I am going in June 25-July 1st. Anyone that has any new info- keep us all posted!! I would love to use the E-night if possible!

It is amazing how you can get so many conflicting answers from people that work at Disney. We have been doing e-nights every since they put them in including last summer. We have always purchased our e-night tickets the day we checked in. In some cases we would purchase them 2 or 3 days in advance. We have never had problems buying them in advance at check in.

I have called Disney three times over the last week about some other items and asked about e-nights. I have been told each time there will be e-nights in June starting the 2nd.
