I've heard both good and bad experiences about E-Ride nights, so I'm trying to solicit more feedback.

Is it worth the extra money? How are the crowds? Were going in July this year, so I'm guessing it will be crowded.

I just want to make sure we aren't disappointed if we try to take advantage of it, and it turns out to be the same long lines we get during the day.

Any feedback appreciated.

I enjoyed it. Keep in mind it will still be crowded at the beginning. If you are in line at the time the park closes you get to ride the ride, they don't just start thowing out people so it can be crowded at first. You need to plan to stay for the WHOLE time.

I will second what CarolA said. We just did e-night on May 30. It was really worth it for us. Still crowded in the park til about 8, but after that, almost no wait for anything. We did Splash Mountain twice, Big Thunder Mountain four times, Space Mountain once (it had just reopened so the wait was pretty long) and Buzz Lightyear about 7 or 8 times ( I lost count.)

Would highly recommend e-ride. We have done it the past 4 years. DH and DD rode splash mountian 8 times without ever getting off. It is magical. The times we have been MK didn't close til around 9:00 or 10:00 so e-night wasn't over until midnight or 1:00am. I have sat on main street waiting for family to get off ride and there not be another person around. You feel you have the kingdom to yourself.

OK, I'm excited now since this will be our first E-Ride experience. Thanks for everyone's feedback!

We'll be there in July, too. We're hoping to try E-night for the first time as well. We're soooo exited we can hardly wait.

We did 2 e-ride nights at the end of May. I had only planned to do one, but everyone wanted to do it again! They sell a limited number of tickets, so crowds diminish quickly after the "official" park closing. CMs don't allow people without wristbands to enter the lines after the starting time, but those already in line get to stay till they ride.
We did more in one e-night than we did during 2 early entry days where we stayed until 3 or 4 pm. Well worth it to us.

We love E-night and believe it's worth the money (I think it was $12.00)! We went on May 10 and it was so great to be able to go rides repeatedly and not have to worry about crowds. There were characters in front of the castle with no lines! The characters were Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy. We were able to get some great video of Main Street at night all lit up and it was practically empty. On our way out, we did some shopping on Main Street and it was great because there were no lines, no crowds, I loved it!!!!

We did the e-ride night last Tues. It was wonderful. We rode Buzz so many times in a row my thumb hurt. We rode BTMRR 4 times in a row and splash 3 times. Space Mountain was a walk on all night long.

It was great to experience the park being quiet and cool. It also allowed us to focus on other attractions on the 2 other days we did MK. It really made a big difference in our touring strategy. Made for much more relaxing days.

I can't recall hearing of a negative E-night experience. We've done it twice and it was worth every penny each time!

It is so worth it! Go, you won't be disappointed. You have barely any waits for the biggies - not at all like during the regular hours.

I'm still sulking over the lack of e-nights during our upcoming trip - but since you're lucky enough to get one - don't miss it.:D
