sorry if this is a dumb question - but I see this mentioned a lot. what is it and how does it work? does it cost extra? Is it a time to be avoided if you are not staying on-site? thanks in advance!

Hi bp. E-night is a night when 9 specific attractions in the MK are open for an additional 3 hours after closing. It does cost extra (12 per adult plus tax). You must be a resort guest and must have a multi day pass (park hopper, AP, LOS, etc). The ticket is only for e-night. It doesn't gain you entrance to MK. So if you are using hoppers you will have to use a day off of it. But of course if you were in a park earlier in the day, then you're just hopping so it's no different then if MK were open for the evening and you were hopping over.

I don't think you necessarily have to worry about avoiding MK on days when there will be an e-night. I know when I go to e-night I usually go somewhere else during the day because I'm going to hit all my favorite rides at MK that night.

Baggy Pants:

E-Ride is a chance for Resort guest to spend an extra 3 hours in the Magic Kingdom after the park closes.

For $10 plus tax you get to ride 4 or 5 e-ticket rides as many times as you want. Typically Big Thunder, Splash Mtn, Space Mountain, Buzz and Alien are open. Ocasionally they have opened the Haunted Mountain or the Country Bears.

any one know when e-nights are for may?

Sneezy,

The price went up from 10-12 some time ago. I want to say it may have been as long as a year ago. But I know for sure in March it was 12 plus tax for adults. It may be 10 plus tax for children. Not sure on that.
