I am new to this site and I am having problems with it. Anyways, I don't want to receive emails every time someone answers to a post that I post. I went in preference and unclick receive e-mails, but I am still receive them.

See if this works for you. You may have watched threads and are receiving the alerts for them. Go to this link and if there are any threads listed click on them and in the upper right choose "unwatch thread." Let me know if it works or not. http://www.disboards.com/watched/threads
