I have been seeing good deals on E.L.F cosmetics online at their site. Before I bought some, I wanted to know if anyone on here has used it. I first saw it at Target and bought some lip gloss for $1, which was okay. The web site has much more to offer than Target does, and this weekend is $1.98 shipping!

Have any of you used it? What did you think? I have really oily skin, so the make-up I use has to be formulated for that. I also want long wearing good coverage foundation/powder.

Can't wait to hear some reviews on this stuff!

TIA!

IMO : it's more like play make-up or for tweens.

I purchased some for my daughter (6th grader) and it seems to be suitable for her. It really dosen't last that long, so I would not consider it to have good coverage or long-lasting.

I mean for $1-2 it's perfect for her to start with a lil bit of make-up on special ocassions, but I wouldn't purchase it for my everyday make-up

I don't wear foundation & don't have oily skin so I can't comment directly to that, but I have purchased elf cosmetics in the past and don't have many complaints.

I really like the colors of their eye shadow. They've got a quad of brown tones called Brownstone that I LOVE and can't find anything similar anywhere.

My only complaints are that their brushes are kind of a crappy quality -- 1/4 of the ones I've gotten have fallen apart. The quantities of their product are smaller than I thought they'd be as well. I run out of everything quicker than I expected.

I really like the Studio line. Highly recommend the golden bronzer they carry at Target. Not really a bronzer- just makes your skin luminous!

I love their eye primer- for $1, it works really well! my eyeshadow always creases, but whenever I use it, I have no problems!

I totally agree with this. Most of the stuff I bought ended up in the trash.

I've only used the eyeliner and mascara, but I like them both. I actually like the eyeliner more than several more expensive brands I've tried. The mascara is ok.

I just got their eyebrow kit (I think that's what it's called) and really like it. I have blond eyebrows, so they are basically non-existent. it is a nice brown color powder, and a brow gel that goes over top. works really well, and it lasts. And, it was only $3.00. I think that at the low price they charge, it's worth it to by something and try it out, because if you don't like it, you aren't really out very much. IMHO anyway! :)

I'm pretty darn pleased with their concealer. I have VERY dark circles under my eyes and nothing works to conceal them I've tried tons of pricey products with little success. A girl at Sephora talked me into spending a crapload on GREEN concealer once...yeah, didn't work. I buy the liquid and the solid concealer stick and I find that the combo of the 2 works really well, AND I don't look like I have a ton of makeup on. It just evens out my tone and looks natural. For the price, you definitely can't beat it!!!

Sounds good to me! I think it is worth a try. Who knows, I may find a gem!

I tried their blush. It isn't the best blush but it is decent for the $1 I paid. I also got a face brush, which is a bit flimsy but again is pretty nice for $1.

I've tried this too.... I really liked it! :goodvibes

My only concern with e.l.f. is that it is made in China (but I still use the eyebrow kit).

I've only used their nail polish and their lip glosses - the lip glosses are grand to just keep in my car so I always have access to a little color, but I LOVE the nail polish. Wears well for me, I like the colors, and some of them I can get by with only doing one coat.
