e-bay question

I do not buy any scrapbooking stuff on ebay.

I'm quite new to Ebay so haven't bought that much at all. The craft / scrapbook items I've bought have been a Jolees that I couldn't find in any other on-line or local store and some small embellishments that I hadn't seen anywhere before. I also bought some large quantities of ribbon, but they were for invitations. I guess it depends what you're looking for, and if the price and postage is good.

I have purchased stickers that I couldn't find elsewhere -- Pocahontas, Kim Possible, Hunchback of NotreDame, Hercules, Lion King -- this was before the explosion of Disney Character Jolees or EK Success embellishments. I have also purchased a few lots of Jolees -- you can get a really good deal on these at times. The last set I bought averaged out to less than $1.50 each. Of course, if you don't need the whole lot then it is not a good deal.

One Christmas my sister bought me the upper and lower case sizzix fun serif set for $100 including shipping. It was used, but in perfect condition. My dad got me a 225 count of monochromatic Bazzill 12x12 paper at a good price.

When I shop on ebay I usually set the list to "ending soonest". I don't get involved in bidding on anything until it is less than 24 hrs until the auction ends. I also set a price limit for the item and strictly adhere to it. I don't want to get caught up in the moment and overpay for an item.

I've purchased a couple of scrapbooking mystery lots. I got one for $29.64 that had over $300 worth of stuff in it and I have already used tons of it myself, given some as hostess gifts and some to my scrapbook friends as little gifts. I got tons of Disney and assorted Jolee's, 2 Quote Stacks, lots of embellishments, rub-ons and a Making Memories eyelet setter.

I am currently stalking Cricut cartridge posts for a particular font.

I also don't bid unless it is within 24 hours and I give myself a set maximum. I enter that maximum bid and then I just watch. If I get it, great. If it goes over, I move on.

What's your username there?

I've been watching some scrap stuff on ebay and am shocked at how much some of these people are paying. It has to be under the 24 hour mark for me too and if it goes over the price I'm willing to pay, well, that's just too bad. I won't get into a bidding war with others.

Me too would be interested, I have NEVER shopped Ebay :scared1: , and really have no clue, but would love to do it on the Canadian Ebay. Anyways, any hints would be good, as i am starting my Disney trip1!!!:cool1:

Also forgot, is the Disney newer stickers or stuff you cannot find anywhere. Would love to go to the outlet but afraid of wasting time for small selection.
