e-bay listing ?

I went up to the attic today to find some things to e-bay. Someone said that this is the time to list back to school clothes. When I looked through my DD's clothes, I mostly have sweaters. I was going to group the clothes together but I was wondering if it's too early to list sweater's. They are nice, GAP and abercrombie sweater's. Maybe I should just wait until I come back from vacation after school starts.

Any opinions?

NO... it is certainly not too early to list sweaters. I just sold some christmas items and they all went for high bids. You will notice that the stores are starting to stock fall clothes now for school. Good luck!!

My clothes did not sell well at all this year! Summer is typically slow but for some reason it's really slow now. I am waiting to list Christmas and winter clothes until Sept.

What about Halloween costumes? I noticed the seasonal "Halloween Express" store has opened in my area once again. Does eBay work on a similar time table?

It seems so early to me, but then again, I usually wait until last minute!

I did a search and they do sell, mostly the name brands but the others aren't selling that well.

I sold some sweater vests for boys the past two weeks that sold like hotcakes, I think because of the school uniforms.

Personally, I would wait until you get back. I, too, have some good fall and winter stuff to put up and will start next month so the demand will be greater.

As for Halloween, I had a BALL selling costumes in early October. I intend to do the same this year. I think it's a toss up as to when you want to start selling. Do a completed items search on your item and see if they're selling first. Otherwise, wait a while when more people will have Halloween on the mind.

Thanks, I decided that I would wait until I got back. I really would like some money to spend on vacation but I do not have the time to list everything I want to.

I am sure that the money will come in handy when school starts and my older kids need clothes.

I have been bitten by the EBay bug!
My sister just started and she is doing awesome so I had to join in too. Right now I just have kids books up. I have to work on getting my photos pulled together to do the rest.

I have been selling on ebay for two years now and have done very well. I mostly sell my children's clothing. I spend more money than I should on my kids clothing so they have really nice clothes. I sold an Indygo outfit for $24.99 this week. I paid over $70 for it. In my opinion it looked great. The lady who bought it just sent me a nasty email about it. I noticed she only has three feedback ratings. I told her to send it back and I would refund her money. I hate dealing with people like her. They expect brand new boutique for Wal-mart prices!!! Sorry I just had to vent.
