E&a fp+ bs

I got it to work for Saturday May 31st. We are not all the exact same time but they all overlap so we can go as a group. I got A&E from 935-1035 Voyage of Little Mermain at 1110-1210 and Big Thunder Mountain 100-200. I figure this gives us time to play around in Fantasyland from RD to 1 then take the train over to BTMR. If anyone has other thoughts please chime in.

I had to book ours (for the end of May) for one person at a time. It would not let me copy over to the rest of the group. So all five of us each have a different time, but they are all overlapping somewhat. (Actually, the two farthest apart don't intersect, 10 to 11 and 11 to 12, but I am hoping they will let her go in with us at 11:20, when I believe all others do intersect.) What a mess!

Incidentally, it did let me book my 3 year old by herself. Everyone else in the family has a time overlapping with hers, but she has her own time.

So our party of 5 is taking up 5 slots, instead of the one we actually need. Sure, we'll take longer than one individual (unless it is a very chatty individual!), but we certainly don't need that many slots.

Thanks for the booking one at a time tip. It was the only way I was able to find anything.

Glad u got it but you kinda need to chill and sit back and just take the time to get it to work for u. U can book 1 person at a time even if they r under 7. My kid is 4 and I did hers on her own. All my times are staggered by 5 mins too. No big deal. I still got my times to all work out. Best thing to do it take what they give u then go back in manually and select new times. Make sure ur other fast passes are not the same time u are trying for and u should be fine. I had zero issues 60 days out for the week of Easter. It just took some finessing. I have been tweaking stuff day by day as we get closer and have not been locked out of times I wanted. Just keep tweaking times little by little to get it to where I need it.

I had to separate my group as well. There are 3 adults, one child and one 2 year old. For Elsa & Anna, I did one adult, one adult and an adult and child (3 separate FP times that all overlap). I was able to get the times within 20 minutes of each other by checking daily.

I approached my FP+ selections just as I do my dining reservations. I typically plan for the "more coveted" ADR's towards the end of my trip to account for the +10 people who may have already booked at the beginning of my trip. So I scheduled my A&E FP+ first and made them for the day before we leave and had no issues with it! We have a party of 6 (5 that are FP+ eligible) and was able to book ours all at once for the 1st time slot of the day. However, I did have an issue with trying to use the app. Nothing was showing up for them... so I switched to using MDE on the website and they all popped up then!

I tried booking for one person of 2 and can't get a spot any day from sat may 17-sun may 25. Of course I went to Memorial Day, a day I'm not in the parks and it's open. Not sure what's up or if it's blocked off for that week. Aside from sww and 24hr event, that week shouldn't be crowded. Not sure why I can't book. I'll keep checking

I agree. Has to be a difficult process for WDW to figure out on something this limited in availability and high demand. Many if not most will never get a shot unless they just add more A&E's somehow IMO.

Went from a 3 plus hour wait with the current system, to already knowing the date and time with no worries for the hottest ticket in WDW-doesn't sound all that bad to me.

So my window opens next week, the 4th. Do I need to be up at midnight? Does it matter what time zone I'm in?

I don't know what booking FP+ is like since it's not available to me yet. Is it pretty easy to figure out how to copy to other people?

Same questions here! My window opens 4/2. I wasn't really that concerned about booking FP+ right away since my DD is a big chicken so we don't do the big rides. Meeting Elsa is the one thing she really wants to do though so I now need to figure it out!

I just did mine a few nights ago. I logged after midnight Orlando time, but it was actually before midnight my time, and it was open to me. I was able to get all of our FP+ - pretty much all of them at our preferred times, and I was able to get all of my family of 4 at one time (even for Anna & Elsa). I had to tweak my touring plans only a little.

The only thing that was confusing/frustrating to me, was that you had to select their times then go back in to modify. I had our touring plans all mapped out, so I already had time frames in mind. It took a few more steps to change them, but pretty easy once I figured it out.

You need to be up at midnight eastern exactly. Then choose just one member of your party and as quickly as you can book the fast passes. Then choose another member and do the same thing.

I was up last night choosing for 60 days from today(May 28). I picked one person scheduled the 3 fps. I then tried to copy for the other members on the party. This did not work. I then had to go choose another person. Got the three fps. The Anna and Elsa did not overlap. I tried a third person and was able to overlap that FP. I then tried for a 4th person and by then (8 minute or so after midnight) they were all out.

So I am left with 1 FP I can't use because it doesn't overlap. I can then choose to bring either the 3 yr old or the 7 yr old in to see them. There is no ability to change times because all of the FP are gone.

Basically there will be no chance for anyone with a 30 day window to book this experience. Also, it will be really difficult with a 60 day window. You need the 60 day + entire stay and then book it towards the end of your trip.

Shame on Disney!

This is what I had to do as well. The "boys" in our group will go ride Buzz Lightyear while the "girls" do the meet and greet. All four of us have different times but they overlap. It was a pain to do, but was grateful for what I got!pixiedust:

The FP+ system is a joke right now. I wasn't selected to test the online FP+ system so I couldn't setup anything until I arrived at the park each day. When I setup my FP+ at Epcot yesterday all I ended up with was Captain EO, Living in the Land and Maelstrom. We skipped the Captain EO as we were in Japan at that time but Living with the Land was great as I had already watched a documentary on Disney World's produce and restaurant food. I was quite dissapointed with Maelstrom. I can't wait to see what they replace it with now that Frozen has become a huge success. Of course they may just add an extra ride over there.

Magic Kingdom was better for the system. We ended up with buzz lightyear, space mountain, small world on day one. Day 2 was Splash mountain, barnstormer and haunted mansion. It was still limited but with a group of 8 I couldn't complain.

I was going in expecting the old system to be integrated with the old. I went to space mountain to print a fp ticket. That didn't work out so well.

This was our first trip to Disney World and we were not impressed with the new system.

There is no getting it to work sometimes. I wanted to do MK on Thursday BUT there were no FP+ available for these 2 even grabbing them 1 at a time. My entire issue surrounds the fact that I on the first day I am allowed to get FP+s am not able to do so because people who had arrival dates prior to mine that just happen to have a trip that overlaps mine grabbed them all. I just feel you get 60 days from the day you want to book a FP not 60+ days from start of trip.

We live in the Central time zone and I was able to make my FP+ selections at 11pm my time which made it midnight WDW time. I was able to get all of our FP+, even the coveted A&E FP for all four of us in our party with no problems. I have gone back in since then and tweaked our times just so that our park days flow better. The only one I cannot tweak is the A&E FP+ because there are no more FP+ times for that date.

As I am just starting to plan my trip for thanksgiving I am curious if people with a Travel Agent are having them set their FP+ for them or do you do it yourself. trying to decide if I want to get a TA to handle things or not.

What is A&E ?

I would suggest that if none FP+ booking is available for A&E, you guys can try to check it again the day of, before park opening. For many attractions, they save a lot of FP+ spots to release day of. I was able to book Toy Story and Soarin in the morning day of, and there are many time slots available.

Now, I am not sure how this would work when off-site guests start to pre-book FP+, but still, apart from checking everyday, I think there is a chance to find some FP+ day of.
