I am buying a new dyson and am trying to decide if I want to switch to a ball. I would like feedback on what you think of it if you have one. I love my original one but it doesn't fit under my kitchen cabinets and I hate having to take the wand out every time. It looks like the ball will fit. I also have the animal version and am looking at the DC25. What do you think? Thanks

I have the DC25 animal ball and LOVE it!! It's easy to move around and fits in a lot of tighter spaces. I've had mine for over a year now and I still LOVE it. I also find it to be a lot lighter than a lot of other vacuum's I've had. I also love that I can go from my carpet to my hard floors without having to do anything but push a button (from using the rollers to not). I wouldn't trade mine for anything.

I thought all Dysons had a ball. We've had our Animal for over 5 years (still working great - we just finally replaced the brushes this week) and it has a ball. Isn't that round purple thing on ours called the ball?
