Dysfunctional iPods ?

Does anybody here have an Apple iPod ?
If you do, does yours screw up all the time? Mine has been broken for about 6-7 weeks, I had to email the Apple company and ask them to fix it. It's SUCH a pain! I actually like my CD Player cos it's dependable, and all you need to worry about are the batteries.
Am I the only one with a malfunctioning iPod???

i have an ipod and mine works fine, and everyones at school as far as i know works fine. The only thig we have wrong with our ipods at school is that they get stolen.

i have an ipod and the one thing that happened once was that the thing froze, i couldnt turn it off or switch songs or whatever. So i had to wait until the battery died and had to charge it and then it worked fine after that.

Yeah, mine stalls all the time.
One day I went to turn it on, and the little wheel wouldn't work, so I could only go to the first thing on each menu
(like: Music, Playlist, My Playlist1).. so I was stuck with this one playlist that had like 9 songs on it

i would say thats deff. not right, i would return it as soon as you can. Mine only froze once and hasnt froze ever since so i dont know lol

Haha, yeah I was not too happy when that happened.
I apparently can send it in a box to DHL and supposedly they bring it to Apple, and they'll repair it and send me a new one?

It better come back fixed, or Apple will be sorry they screwed up my ipd .. hahahaha

I got it for Christmas, and it broke around the first week in Feb. So I didn't use it for that long..

Since I work at the Apple store. I see these types of these things all the time. Alot of it was internal problems that happened during manufacturing. Since it is so new, bring it to you nearest Apple store and they will give you a new one in return for your old one. Let me know what happens, or if there is any other questions you have.

i love my ipod... im kind of an apple geek. i cant stand using windows anymore...but like testtrackboy said it is mainly manafacturing problems but to restart your ipod you should hold down the play and menu button. that will help to restart if frozen and if the ipod acts up. my ipod screwed up a couples of time too and have froze alot. i just restart it and works fine.

i want a mini i pod my friend got one and its pink and it works just fine its pretty cooL!!
