DxDP worth it???

We are booked for DxDP for 6 nights of our 10 night stay (doing a split stay with and without dining). We only plan on having 2 TS meals per day and probably 2 signature dining...the more I think about it, the more it seems to be worth it, but I don't know if it justifies $70+ a day...

any insight?

The typical "break even" point for DxDDP is using 2/3 of your credits at TS locations. Even if this means only spending 2/3 of your credits in total (although, depending on the choices it can be slightly under). Assuming that you're going to spend most of the credits (if not all), you should be coming out ahead by quite a bit.

However, this assumes that you're planning to eat as the plan suggests (app + entree + dessert). Dropping a course here or there is going to lower the financial aspect of the plan (although, if you've gotten most of your credits spent at TS, you'll still come out ahead).

So, overall, if you already plan on dining in this manner, and you've got your credits spent decently (yes, it's much easier to come out ahead on DxDDP), then you'll be fine.

Break it down to what you're going to get (that you actually want) for the $70 upgrade, on average, per day.
Does the refillable mug have any value to you? (To me, it's a minimal value, as there is no shortage of beverages on the plan, and since you can only use it at the resort.. but if you drink tons of soda, it can have value).
Do you plan on using most of the snacks?

Turning to the meals.... You were already getting 1 table meal, which was either a buffet, or entree + dessert.
Now, you get to add an appetizer -- Does that have any value to you, or you really don't care about the appetizer?

And you previously got a CS meal per day... For 2 people, that's $20-$30 in value. Now, you will likely to a TS meal instead of that CS meal. What's the extra value of the TS meal? (Depends how you use it... if you use it at LeCellier, can be $100+ in value, use it at Liberty Tree Taven, and the value may just be $50)

If you would just be using it for some medium priced lunches, and you don't really need the extra appetizers, then it's probably not worth it.
If you're adding a couple signature meals, want to have some appetizers, plan on using some of the extra snacks, and maybe eating 3 regular meals per day at times... then it is probably well worth the price.
