DXDP on New Year's Eve

Are there any meals and menus where you cannot use the dining plan? I am mainly asking about the signature restaurants that offer a fixed price menu on holiday dates etc.

We have an ADR at Yachtsman steakhouse on New Year's Eve early on at 8pm and will have left before the new year arrives with our young daughter! Will we be able to use dining plan credits to pay or will it be oop?

You will be able to use your dining plan in any restaurant on New Year's Eve. The only places you may not be able to use it will be at places having specialty dinners specifically for NYE. They usually list which restaurants those are closer to the end of the year.

Thanks for your info- that's really helpful. Yachtsman is on a list that I have seen for a fixed price menu for New Years Eve. Sounds like I may not be able to use DDP that night- I will have to re-jig plans so I can enjoy those 2 credits elsewhere!!

Just to update...

Had to email disney today and asked about using dining plan on New Year's Eve at Yachtsman Steakhouse. Email back said even though it is a special menu DP will be taken as usual.
