Hi Everyone,:flower3:

First time on the DxDP. I'm trying to figure out what would be covered under the plan. There are no apps so would a sandwich as the entree and fries per se and a milk shake and soda be covered? Using the milk shake as a dessert.

Also questioning what is covered at the Yachtsman under the plan. Listed under starters are soups and salads plus apps and sides to go along with your entree. If i chose a soup and salad plus my entree with a side, would either of the soups or salads and a side be OOP?

Thank You for your help:thanks:

At the Yachtsman, you get ONE choice of an appetizer...a soup OR a salad OR something off the appetizer menu. Any extra combination of those is OOP. Also, any side you order extra will also be OOP.

For B&C, people have reported that they will allow you to use a shake as your drink entitlement, then you can order a dessert off the menu as well. YMMV. Sounds like more than a bellyful to me, but everyone's different. But, if your plan is what you want, I'm sure that would be allowed.

The last time we were at Beaches & Cream, we were offered soup, chili, or a side salad as our appetizer. We didn't ask if the other sides were an option. And since there doesn't appear to be a side salad on the current menu, I'm not sure that would still be possible now.

For our entree, we were able to get a sandwich with fries or onion rings. Milkshakes can be drinks on the plan, but since we're all fans of old-fashioned flavored Cokes, we had cherry and vanilla Cokes as our drinks and got a couple of milkshakes to go since we couldn't possibly eat four sundaes.

At Yachtsman, you'll be able to get soup OR a salad OR an appetizer on the plan, and only the side that is plated with your entree. If you want more than one starter or any extras from the "sides" section of the menu, you'll have to pay for those OOP.

I have high hopes for 2018 when alcoholic beverages are included. It would be a lot of food, but a burger with onion rings, hard float, and a sundae sounds like a delicious way to share a deluxe meal credit!

Unless something has changed, b&c does not allow meal sharing on ddp

Thanks for the heads up. Via Napoli is the only TS I had heard previously that did not allow sharing, besides the pay-per-person buffets and character restaurants. Are there any others we should be aware of? We usually prefer to share meals because of the shear volume of food.

Hi again,
Another question about whats covered under the DxDP. Are there any restrictions on what you can order at the Boathouse? Is there an upcharge for baked stuffed Lobster or any of their pricier steaks?

Just trying to figure out the dining plan so we don't have to pay OOp for anything.. The plan is expensive enough:-)

:thanks:
