DxDDP Breakfast Buffet multiple beverage question

DH is totally against using any dining credits for breakfast as we lose the appetizer and desert options. Told him that I thought that most buffet locations would provide him the option of getting unlimited multiple beverages such as coffee/tea and juice at least. I told him that I thought that I even had seen on previous post that regular milk/chocolate milk might also be also available on an unlimited basis.

DH would like me to double check that this is accurate at the following Breakfast Buffet locations

1900 Park Fare
Boma
Cape May
Captain's Grill
Chef Mickey's
Crystal Palace
Hollywood/Vine
Tusker House
Wave

Any feedback regarding these locations would be appreciated

I know at Crystal Palace I had both coffee and juice and they kept refilling both!

Buffets are all you can eat, so technically you don't lose any dining credit allotments when dining there, even for breakfast. The all you can eat family style restaurants are also an option, as well as Captain's Grill that has a pay one price for a breakfast buffet plus ordering items off the menu like omelets.

I remember reading that there were no more refills on milk, but I can't remember if that applied to buffets.

Since it is a buffet, technically you get the app & dessert. & Since you are on the dining plan doing deluxe, unless you think you are going to use all your other credits on other restaurants, I would use my dining credits.

You get 3 TS credits each per night (they do carryover until the end of your stay if you don't use all of them each day). When we did the plan, we would mostly do a signature at night (2 TS credits) and if we did a buffet breakfast, we were way to full to eat anything for lunch besides a snack and then do a big meal at dinner. You will see it is a lot of food, and we both can eat a lot. If that is your DH's plan it might not be a good one to not use the credits for breakfast. & then if you don't do a signature or many of them, then you can still do a breakfast, lunch & dinner at night using your credits without paying out of pocket.

I have had juice and tea at buffet breakfast before. I don't know about the milk/chocolate milk, but I think you would get refills. I think it is a good value especially for the pre-park openings so that you can optimize your park time. We never eat lunch after having a buffet breakfast. Might have a pretzel or another type of snack using a snack credit, but that is it. I am considering DLX on my next trip and planning several character breakfasts and then a signature dinner. There is only one day that I am considering 3 meals and that is really just because I want to go to those 3 places!

Tusker House has such a YUMMY juice (oh I wish I could have some now) and is DD favorite breakfast. We also really enjoy Crystal Palace.

We are breakfast people, so it is a good choice for us. It is such a great time to fill up on some healthy choices for the day. Eggs, fruit, oatmeal, yogurt.... oh yeah and those Krispy Kreme donuts at Tusker (HA HA HA)

we have had breakfast buffet multiple times at Boma, Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's. We had juice and coffee at all of them, with multiple refills. Guests dining with us had soda & juice, again with multiple refills.

Can't help on the milk question, no one in our party ever asked for milk.

I almost always have juice and something else at buffets. I've never been charged extra for my second drink.

I agree with the PP who said to go ahead and use some credits for breakfast. Most of the buffets are pretty costly and are "worth" the credit anyway. Another "all-you-can eat" breakfast option is the princess meal at Akershus in Norway. It has the best potatoes!

Call me confused...but you get 3 dining *credits* on the Deluxe plan....and you have to use your credits someway? So why not on a breakfast buffet? I know..no appetizer and dessert....but you have to eat breakfast...yes? So the alternative is to pay OOP? Which seems crazy since you have 3 credits to use...unless of course you are eating at signatures meals every single day. And if you look at the current prices at breakfast buffets (especially character ones) I think they would be a great value for 1 dining credit.
