It has been confirmed that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be present at the grand opening of Disaster on January 17th.

Yes, "The Rock" was there and it was a fun grand opening. We've posted a video at http://www.attractionsmagazine.com of the whole grand opening along with some pre-show and on-ride footage as well as interviews with "The Rock", Mark Woodbury of Universal Creative, and Universal Orlando President Bill Davis. You'll find photos from the event in our photo gallery as well.

phamton, I'm looking at the site with the newest Safari version in Leopard with no problems. it's a good-looking site with some nice videos. the magazine looks pretty unbiased when it comes to coverage of all of the area parks, I'd like to see it available locally.

I wish I was at the grand opening. But, my friend did say that Bill Davis says the resort has a big project for 2009 planned...hmmm, could this be the "Project Rumble"???
