DW got an iPad!

It's official. We have added an iPad to the family. For Mother's Day, I gave my wife the choice of a Macbook Air or an iPad. After much trial and debate, she went with the iPad. Of course, there were none to be found. I ordered one online and it finally arrived today. She is having a good time setting it up, installing apps and putting it through its paces.

We both have iPhones and DD has an iPod touch so we are not new to the general technology but if anyone has any specific iPad tips or suggestions, I'd love to hear them.

OHHHHHH She is going to be in love. Now you must remember a few things:

1. You have to get used to having it on her at all times.

2. If she likes scrabble she can play "words with friends" with people all over.

3. Angry Birds looks great on the IPad especially the Rio version.

4. She will need a bigger purse.

5. Your new phrase might be what my husband says to me a lot "will you please put that down!"

Well, we're both already like that with our phones so that won't be a big change.

I just recently got an iPad too! I love it!

I don't have very many tips for you yet, but have her check out apple's Numbers app. It's a bit pricey but totally worth it if you use spreadsheets for any reason. I've used it to plan my next WDW trip... price comparison, itinerary, dining schedule! Love it!

We ordered ours online 2 weeks ago. Still have to wait to next Friday for delivery so I am also untested in any apps
